Last night Grace Community Church did a very special thing. Our congregation here in Berea, KY gathered together to pray.
We know God loves it when we pray because of promsies like this in Hebrews:
Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:14-16 ESV)
We prayed for our congregation to grow closer to each other and, most importantly, to our Lord and Savior.
We prayed for our upcoming small groups, that our leaders would be prepared to teach and members eager to learn.
We prayed for our pastor, as he preaches God’s Word faithfully every week.
We prayed for our upcoming ministry at our local laundry mat here in Berea, to reach out to our community and serve them.
We prayed for you, YES you. That you might come and visit our church, to know God or to know Him better. We prayed we might have a servant’s heart towards you and demonstrate the love of Jesus to you.
If you’re interested in why our church prayed for you Sunday night, drop us a line. We’d be glad to meet over a cup of coffee – whether virtual or physical – and talk.
