Last Sunday was one the most delightful days I have had at our church. GCC had a wonderful ACTS1EIGHT Sunday, a wonderful sermon from Psalm 126, lunch with the wife and Deven, and Berea College’s God on the Quad event.
Many people worked very hard to get everything ready for us to go on Sunday.
It all started a month ago with Victoria emailing and running frantically around campus to get information from anyone and everyone. Thank you for your hard work, without it we could not have done what we did yesterday.
Thank you Todd, Rachel, Abby, Alexandra, Olivia, Elyssa, Amanda, and Pastor Craig for coming Friday night and eating pizza with us and working an assembly line like nobodies business to prepare our giveaway cups.
Thank you to Matt, Joshua, Sherry, Deven, and Victoria for joining us at the event. Each of you were integral to what we did last Sunday. Joshua, Victoria, and mom (Sherry) were out front talking to people and handing out cups. Matt and Deven worked hard to make sure we always had enough cups so we could pass them out.
In the sermon we talked about different ways we were going to sow the seed of the Gospel. Sunday was the beginning of that on the campus of Berea College. May our great God and Savior see fit to glorify Himself as we continue to work in reaching the campus. Please be in prayer as we reach out to the fifty six contacts we were able to get from God on the Quad. May we be faithful in the endeavor.
I have thanked a lot of people. I thank God above all for allowing us to join in His work of redemption. He is the great redeemer and we take the message of this great redeemer to those who do not know Him.
