Your church meets where!

Would it surprise you to find out that our church -Grace Community Church gathers together each week in a home?

Have you ever considered becoming part of a church that meets in a home or another non-traditional location?  More and more people are considering an alternative to the traditional Church with one  of those options being meeting in a home right in the neighborhood.   Home churches are certainly not new they have existed literally for centuries.  Perhaps you have head them referred to as  a simple church or an organic church.  Just like many traditional churches each one has it's own unique flavor or personality.

Before you draw any conclusions, let me put your mind at ease.

Grace Community Church is not

• A group of disgruntled Christians who couldn't handle the traditional church
• A group of Christains who think that the traditional church has it all wrong
• A group of Christians who are trying to re-invent the wheel - that is to say we are not an emergent church
• We are not on a crusade out to prove that we are right and everyone else is wrong

Grace Community Church is

• A group of Christians trying to live out their faith in Christ with true biblical community
• A group of Christians seeking to display the love Christ has for us through the love we display for each other
• A group of Christians who look to the Scriptures for guidance to help us understand what the church is and how it is to function.

Why do you meet in a home?

That is an excellent question that we hope to be able to answer through the material that we provide here.  we are still growing and exploring and it may not be our final destiantion.  But for our church at this time we are exactly where Christ wants us to be.  This may or not be what Christ has for you, so take your time look around, asks questions and let us know how we can be of help to you in your spiritual development.
