Got this email from my boss:
I learned this morning that a good friend of mine here in Berea passed away last night. He was in his late 40's. They think it may have been a heart attack. His name was Jeff Sizemore.
He left his wife (Jane) and 3 children (2 boys and 1 girl).
Jeff was a believer and had strong faith. I have no doubt that he is worshiping in Heaven this morning, but I feel terrible for his family that he has left behind. As you can imagine, it was very unexpected.
Please keep Jane and her children in your prayers this week. They will need the comfort that only Jesus can provide.

On June 29th I'll be preaching at a graduation celebration for a church in Louisville. The pastor informed me that two of the graduates are not saved and one of them is open to the gospel. Pray for me as I prepare that I make much if Christ.

Please pray for blessings for a beautiful wedding and marriage for my niece who is getting married today. Also for the strength and forgiveness our family needs to mend a rift. May this wedding and these blessings bring us all closer together.

First, thank you so very much for this opportunity to be lifted in prayer... I often pray for others than myself but know We certainly need prayer. I have a 14 year old soon who is my heart... His father died in 2002 suddenly in an accident when my son wasn't quite 3, broke my heart for him of never having that opportunity to have his Dad (even tho we were not together and he only saw my son 3 short time, (he had some internal battles that he was trying to work through) yet I still hoped he'd step up for our child ...my Dad was there for us both, through my pregnancy and guiding and Directing my Son until he too died in an auto accident in 2006, my son was 6 and was pretty much Papaws shadow... As for me, Dad was my rock and I was a Daddy's Girl. Dad pastored a church for around 30 years and loved and followed God our Savior. He is most definitly in his eternal home in Heaven and wouldn't bring him back because he is with Christ now... He ALWAYS took my boy to church every chance he got and sadly I've not kept my son in church as often as I should have... But we are planning to go tomoro where many of his school friends go but I do have to push him right now as well as myself... My health is not in a great place at all right now and has kept me from working right now and I can't take this much more but I know with prayer God will touch me and make me whole again... It's very hard physically AND emotional for me to get out much but I will not give up! Praying that I can get us both to church in the morning coz I Hunger for his Love and know that he could lead my child in a profound way, and I pray that no matter where his life takes him, that he can feel and know that God our Father Will never leave him... I get at least the next 4 years of high school with he (i pray)! Please remember my son and I in your prayers and to never lose sight of all Gods promises... God is Sooo Good and I praise him with all that I am... My son and I have a couple elder family members and that's it... He says he's not missing anything without a father but he knows that Jesus IS the father of the fatherless ... I praise God for every thing, big or small ...we want to live our lives for God so please keep us in your prayers that no matter what obstacles we come across that we can keep our eyes on Jesus and work hard for him... GOD BLESS ALL INVOLVED❤️

Victoria received this email from her CEO today. Pray for our sister in Christ in Afghanistan.
I am not in the habit of sending prayer request emails, but this situation is dire and prayer is needed. It first requires a little background, so bear with me – this story is quite compelling.
I have a dear Christian brother, named Kaleem Javed. He is here in the United States, working for me, as a religious refugee - he has religious asylum officially granted by our government. Kaleem is a Christian who converted from Islam while living in Pakistan. As a result of his conversion, the local Islamist radicals found out and issued a fatwa for him and his family (wife and child). The short version is Kaleem and his family fled their house in the middle of the night while the Islamists were literally breaking in his door and they somehow managed to escape to America. The long version is worthy of a novel and you can see God’s grace throughout his flight. Perhaps one day when you have the time Kaleem can tell you himself (he loves to tell his story of conversion and escape). This happened about 3 or 4 years ago.
So now: Kaleem has just found out that his sister, Ghazala Shafiq, has been charged and arrested under sharia law for blasphemy and apostasy charges. Ghazala is a professing Christian and was the first to convert in his family. Her arrest is a direct result of her profession of Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. The crime for blasphemy under sharia law is death, sometimes without a trial. Her exact circumstances are somewhat unclear as we just found this out, and as you can well imagine information is hard to get. We think she is somewhere in Karachi, Pakistan. She was arrested and was released on interim bail, but the Muslim radicals found out and have petitioned the higher courts to arrest her again. She and her family are literally hiding and running for their lives.
I have written Mike McIntyre, a U.S. Congressman, because I know him. I am also considering contacting Doug Coe, a dear Christian brother who heads the International Foundation. Other than prayer, I am not sure how to proceed to help Ghazala and her family (husband and 4 children). Kaleem is trying desperately to gather information, case #, etc. and he will disseminate as he gathers. Once information is gathered, we will try petitioning, Amnesty International, etc.
So, please join me in praying for Ghazala Shafiq and her family. The Lord knows their fate and He is faithful to those that proclaim His name.

Please keep my friend Koy in your prayers. She has been having a lot of health problems and was diagnosed with a thyroid disease (Hasimotos, I believe). She has been in and out of the hospital and has been struggling a lot. She is a strong Christian and is trying to stay strong but I know this illness is taking it's toll on her. She is only 24, so young to be suffering so much. Please just keep her in your prayers!

Thank you for praying for my friend Emily and her family. Sadly, her father Greg passed away last night. I am hoping I can make it home to attend the visitation and/or funeral. Please pray for them during this hard time.
